As we continue to grow and adapt to the ever-changing data landscape, the Annual Development Plan for CEDARS and the CET outline our strategic vision for 2026. Along with supporting PA requirements for claims and filings, this plan focuses on enhancing the user experience, expanding functionality, and ensuring performance to meet the evolving needs of our users. This plan reflects our commitment to continuous improvement and innovation, ensuring that CEDARS remains a trusted and dynamic platform for our users.
Fixed Development
Development resulting from policy, reporting and/or regulatory updates.
* Descriptions and timing are estimations and subject to change at the discretion of the CPUC.
Non-Fixed Development
Development resulting from update/requests made and aligned to by the CPUC and PCG members. Non-Fixed Development Timing is TBD, as fixed Development will take priority for the first half of 2026. Below are the top 12 highest voted items from a survey of PCG members conducted in October 2025. Items both on and not on the list may be prioritized by the CPUC or PCG members throughout 2026.

System Support
Development support and efforts to ensure CEDARS and the CET are secure, user-friendly, accessible, and up to date.
