Reported by Yamini (Guidehouse). We are preparing a draft of the EE dashboard (including 2026-Q1-Q2 data) for publishing on CEDARS-2. As part of our QC, I am comparing the dashboard results against the CEDARS claims summary table and noticed a difference in the Cost Effectiveness (CE) ratios that we are trying to reconcile. Overall, our TSB, expenditures, and energy savings match the claims summary exactly. However, all CE ratios differ specifically for the Residential sector only. A deeper review shows that the discrepancy for TRC ratios is limited to PG&E, SDG&E, and SCG only. Could you help us understand what may be driving this difference? We are wondering whether the CEDARS summary table applies an additional field, filter, or calculation rule that affects the Residential CE ratios. Example 2026 TRC CE: Primary Sector Dashboard TRC CEDARS TRC Diff. Agricultural 1.01 1.01 0.00 Commercial 1.23 1.23 0.00 Cross-Cutting 0.33 0.33 0.00 Industrial 3.96
The Cost Effectiveness Ratios on the budget filing summary table seems to be buggy for specifically the cross-cutting sector. For PG&Eβs 2028-2031 years, the values should be: Primary Sector Year TRC (dashboard) TRC (recalc) TRC Var PAC (dashboard) PAC (recalc) PAC Var RIM (dashboard) RIM (recalc) RIM Var Status Cross-Cutting 2028 1.98x 1.52x -0.4613 33.08x 18.98x -14.1042 0.94x 0.48x -0.4597 REVIEW Cross-Cutting 2029 2.08x 1.54x -0.5363 30.35x 16.98x -13.3720 1.05x 0.51x -0.5421 REVIEW
Load shapes Impact Profile export 8759 unique hours instead of 8760 β one hour appears twice while another is missing entirely, resulting in the output still containing 8,760 rows but with a duplicated hour timestamp rather than a duplicated impact value. Specifically, hour 1587 is missing and hour 1588 appears twice. Likely related to daylight saving time handling.
Not sure if this was brought up before while I was out. When downloading the SW claims output from the SW Confirmed Dashboard, the Participant Output only includes the SCG programs which were the last group to upload. I think the overriding of the previous Participant Table uploads needs to be PA specific for SW
Resolutions for Deemed Measures - CEDARS is now blank, where prior it held the resolutions that were approved.
As a Program Administrator reviewing fundshift activity, I want the Program Dashboard fundshift values to reflect accurate year-to-date (YTD) totals from monthly reports so I can validate statewide (SW) fundshifts and confirm that budget reallocations have been processed correctly.
MCE uploaded data for a program and then removed it from their filing. The program still appears in their dashboard but it should not. Update CEDARS to ensure programs that are removed after CE data are uploaded are excluded from the dashboard.
Minor / not time sensitive bug - When sorting with the columns for the CPUC staff guidance documents, it sorts the dates on the right alphabetically instead of by the date itself. https://cedars.cpuc.ca.gov/documents/standalone/list/
Location: Local Budget Filing dashboards When attempting to download the CET output from the local dashboards, the resulting zip file contents differ depending on the browser being used: Safari: The zip file includes all programs with their related Impact Profiles and files. Chrome: The zip file only contains a single file, cet_output.csv. In both cases, the zip file size appears unusually large, even when it only contains cet_output.csv. Expected Behavior: Regardless of browser, the download should consistently include only cet_output.csv. Environments Affected: This behavior is present in all environments, including production.
I want to point out that, on some Program pages, when viewing the Program Savings and Costs table for a given year, it appears that the claimed incentives (whether reported through ProgramCost or Measure) are reported at 0s, even though incentives may have been reported for that program. I am seeing this with MCE01, which shows 0 incentives in the Claim (through Whole Year 2023) column despite reporting $246,274.419 in incentives for PY2023.
Pacific Gas & Electric (PGE) should be the only way that PGE appears in the IOU AC Territory field of the impact profile metadata.
DEER Impact Profiles have repeated hours (example: DEER HVAC Chillers repeats 1708 rather than following the hour_of_year format 1-8760. Presumably this was for daylight savings time but I had though we agreed with DNV that the profiles should follow the 1-8760 format like the ACC does.
SCG reported some CET runs that ran in production, program-level data didnβt show the Total System Benefit in the program-level summary.
Upload Claims batches are not processing in staging (and testing) due to server errors. Excel file format is failing due to server error and zip file format is failing due to β502 bad gatewayβ error. Please see details below for the sample uploads: Excel file format: https://cedars-2.cpuc.ca.gov/claims/upload-summary/362/ Zip file format:
It was noticed that record-level zipped files, when downloaded and uncompressed, show a default timestamp of Jan 1, 1980, when users would expect to see the date they were served the file.
Starting in 2024 (using the 2024 Avoided Cost Version of the CET) all CO2 values will already be in metric tons. So, no conversion is needed for gas CO2. Please confirm and update claims program segment summary table results for First Year and Lifecycle CO2 accordingly. This must have already been taken care of for budget and application filing. Please confirm.
