New Feature: Impact Profile Tool Now Available

Program Administrators can now upload, manage, and review Impact Profiles in the CET module enabling more accurate modeling of energy efficiency (EE) measure impacts for custom, non-deemed projects like NMEC, SEM, and custom-calculated programs.

To find out more about this new tool read the Impact Profile User Guide

What Are Impact Profiles?

Impact Profiles are normalized 8,760-hour representations of how an EE measure affects energy usage across a year. They reflect the hourly distribution of 1 kWh of savings, enabling precise avoided cost calculations.

Key Capabilities:

  • Upload 8760-hour CSV files representing hourly impact values.

  • View and manage detailed impact profile metadata (IOU, climate zone, sector, profile name).

  • Edit profiles within your group until they are used in a claim or budget filing.

  • Visualize daily impact trends and quarterly avoided cost outputs.

  • Access profiles from other groups for transparency and consistency.

⚠️ Note: Raw usage or customer-specific interval data cannot be uploaded. Only aggregated or modeled impact data is accepted. No personally identifiable information should be included.

This tool gives Program Administrators greater flexibility to assess energy savings in complex projects while supporting compliance, transparency, and accuracy.
