Any BldgType and Any BldgHVAC error in Load Shapes

I believe this is a known issue but we did not think that any measure packages getting the deemed load shapes would have Any in these fields.

Nicholas Fette of Solaris reported an error during CEDARS upload for a measure with BldgType=Any and BldgHVAC=Any in eTRM (SWCR021)

    This is the guidance we currently provide users for the first step of the load shape upload process:

    CEDARS requires uploaded 8760 files to use explicit BldgType and climate-zone-specific BldgLoc integer values, even when the eTRM permutation contains 'Any'. Uploaded values will be matched back to the applicable 'Any' permutation during processing. BldgHVAC may still use 'Any' in uploaded 8760 files.


    There are two things we need to verify:

    • Nicholas and Solaris should not use BldgType = Any in the 8760 upload.

    • They should still be able to use BldgHVAC = Any.

    I can't find Nicholas Fette's upload or the associated error on either cedars-2 or production, so I'm unable to investigate further without the upload file that produced the error.
