Fixed: Duplicate Hour in Impact Profile Exports

An issue has been corrected where Impact Profile exports contained a duplicated hour timestamp (but no accompanying duplicate impact value) and a missing hour for each Climate Zone, resulting in each CSV containing only 8759 unique hours despite having 8760 rows. This behavior was caused by the use of daylight savings-aware timezones across the Impact Profile generation and export code, resulting in incorrect handling of consecutive hourly data.

Moving forward, Custom, Load Shape, and DEER Impact Profile downloads will contain 8760 unique hours across 8760 rows, with no duplicated or missing hour values.

What’s changed

  • Impact Profile generation code has been updated to prevent the creation of new Impact Profiles hours with timestamps impacted by daylight savings time.

  • Daylight savings-aware timezone has been removed from the Impact Profile download code to prevent daylight-savings impacted hour values from being written to each 8760 CSV, for both existing and new Impact Profiles.

  • Existing Impact Profile hours have been corrected, such that each impact value is matched to the correct hour and the downloaded output contains 8760 unique hours for each Climate Zone
