Reports & Documents – Display Upload Confirmation and Default Reporting Year

While working on the new Goal Construct Survey document type, Sebastien from PGE suggested some improvements.

Right now, the Reports & Documents module does not show when a document was last uploaded. Users also have to choose the reporting year or period each time they upload a document.

The proposed update would add the following features:

• A confirmation message that shows the date and time of the most recent document upload.

• A default reporting year or period that automatically selects the current reporting cycle when uploading a document.

Since these improvements could help all document types in the Reports & Documents module, we will treat them as general usability enhancements instead of changes for just one document type.

• Users will get clear confirmation of their latest submission.

• Energy Division can view date of report submissions

• This will help users feel confident that they have selected the correct reporting period.

• It also creates a more consistent experience for all document types.
