Show all non-closed programs to public/non-authenticated users
SCE added 4 new program IDs that were not included in their original budget filing because additional contracts were signed. They added the program and IP, and can filter on the PA Specific Program tab and see the programs. However, when looking at it with a “Community” log in, the programs don’t show up when filtered on. They are unsure if it has to do with the fact that since these weren’t included in the budget filing they are listed on the “Programs not in this Budget Filing”.
Here’s the view from someone in their operations (IDs 002A – 004A are the ones added since the filing)

Hi @GGolden42 This work is now on the cedars-3 site, if you’d like to take a look and see if it works the way you expected.
The change affects users who are not logged in, and can now see most of the same programs as PA users, except for programs that are closed, or closed to new commitments.
Community users who are logged in should be able to see all the same programs as PA users.

Note: public (logged out) users can see fewer programs now overall, because they could see “closed to new commitments” before. But now they can see programs that aren’t yet in a filing.

I checked and could only see non-closed programs when not logged in and could see closed and closed to new commitments when logged in as a community user and each could see new. Thanks

We’re getting questions also from implementers that our new program IDs for SCE aren’t visible. I think we had this issue brought up last year but not sure what our resolution was. I think all programs excluding “Closed” or “Closed to new commitments” should be visible to the public.

I can clarify what different user types see at the moment.
Unauthenticated users (not logged in) can see all programs that are approved or under review. There 687 right now.
Authenticated users (of all stripes) can see all programs. There are currently 733.

This is due to the CEDARS rules that decide which programs to show to public users. We will post those rules for each user type to this ticket and from there we can work out how to best refine them.

The timing is sooner rather than later. Since these are new programs, it’s important that the programs be visible to the community people since they won’t be able to access the IP to understand the new program.
