MCAL - Program Count Not Accurate in Budget Filing Dashboard 'Overview' Section

The SDGE budget filings for 2026 and 2027 show a total count of one greater than the programs being submitted.

2026: 91 of 92 programs have Cost Effectiveness data. Only 91 programs in filing which aligns with the table downloaded from the ‘Programs in This Budget Filing’ Section of the dashboard.

2027: 82 of 84 programs have Cost Effectiveness data. Only 82 programs in filing which aligns with the table downloaded from the ‘Programs in This Budget Filing’ Section of the dashboard.

If the count is off and not all accounted for as having CE data, SDGE will not be able to submit their filings.

    Hey @ggreen we've made updates to the dashboards, which are now ready for retesting on cedars-3. Please let us know if the issue with the overview count appears resolved on your end. I did a quick check and can see 92 programs in the overview and 92 in the program download.

      Thank you, looks good. Also, SDGE was experiencing the same issues as SCE for 2027 when it came to allocated programs not reporting CE data.

      When I removed SDGE_SW_HESC from 2027 in Staging, Production, and now in Test, the dashboard displayed as all programs showing CE data. It was previously showing “60 of 83” programs have CE data. The removal of the program seemed to help something in all environments?

        Hi @ggreen we believe this behaviour is linked to the matview refresh issue currently being worked on. Removing a program, or triggering a manual refresh as was done during the 2027 allocation fix forces the system to update and display correctly. We’re now working on reproducing the issue in the testing environment so we can apply a permanent fix rather than relying on these manual triggers.

    Hi @ggreen, thank you for submitting this ticket! I took a look at the list of programs in the 2026 and 2027 budget filings for SDGE and see the mismatch you pointed out. It looks like these are the programs that are missing Cost Effectiveness data:

    - 2026: SDGE_SW_HESC
    - 2027: SDGE3264 and SDGE_SW_HESC


    These programs won’t appear in the download file in the ‘Programs in This Budget Filing’ section until Cost Effectiveness data have been uploaded for them. If your team isn’t expecting to upload CE data for these programs, you can remove them from the budget filing using the ‘Remove programs’ button in the ‘Programs in This Budget Filing’ section on the budget filing dashboard. This should update the program count for the budget filing automatically and allow you to submit it when ready. Let me know if this helps or if you have any other questions.
