Load Shape – Increase Upload Limits and Improve Large File Processing Performance

As a user uploading large load shape datasets, I want CEDARS to support larger upload sizes and improved processing performance so that I can submit load shape data without excessive file splitting, upload failures, or unreasonable processing times.

Background

Analysis of the 2026 measure package for SWHC013 indicates that a real-world production submission could contain approximately 80 million rows of data.

Estimated file sizing:

• Single

  upload: approximately 500 MB

• Split upload approach: approximately 22 files at ~25 MB each

Current upload limits and processing approaches may not be sufficient to support this scale of data submission efficiently.
