Latest CET database snapshot file appears invalid

I downloaded the latest CET database file from CEDARS, “2025 CET Database Version 25.1 - 26 June 2026 release,” and it won’t run when loaded into our internal CET SQL Server instance.

The database structure contains references to an E3AvoidedCostElecCO2Seq2027 table but that table does not exist. I did see there was a new 2026corrected table and I tried adjusting and using that instead, but it didn’t work.

Am I missing something or could there be an issue with the database snapshot currently on CEDARS? Is it possible to get an updated snapshot/export?

    After digging around some more and resetting various things I have this running now.

    It was unclear to me at first but E3AvoidedCostElecCO2Seq2026 contains the corrected electric avoided costs already. They have their Version set to '2027' though which doesn’t work, and AvoidedCostSourceElecvw and AvoidedCostSourceGasvw both contain references to 2027 tables that don’t exist. The 2026corrected table doesn’t do anything.

    I was able to get this running again and import the corrected costs by just setting everything’s Version back to '2026' in the avoided costs table and resetting those view definitions so they get regenerated correctly on the next run.

    Would still really appreciate a response!

      Thank you for your feedback, and my apology for the slow reply. I can confirm that you were correct to update the version to 2026 in the electric avoided cost table. We are creating a new backup that we will post to CEDARS with that corrected.
