As a Program Administrator, I want a tool to upload, manage, and review custom impact profiles, allowing me to accurately assess the energy savings and avoided costs associated with EE measures.

Description
Develop a tool within CET module that allows Program Administrators to upload and manage custom impact profiles. This tool should support uploading 8,760-hour CSV data, replacing existing profiles, and reviewing impact and avoided costs.


Core Features:

  • Upload and store 8,760-hour impact profile data via CSV.

  • Add details about each custom impact profile.

  • Replace existing impact profiles when needed.

  • Generate avoided costs based on the uploaded impact profile.

  • Review quarterly avoided costs and daily impact profile trends.

  • View impact profiles from other groups.

  • Edit impact profiles within the user’s group.

    Request for testing: Custom Impact Profile Tool


    Hello everyone,

    The Custom Impact Profile tool is ready to be tested on cedars-2 (staging)
    https://cedars-2.cpuc.ca.gov/cet_ui/

    Please use this User Acceptance Testing (UAT) form to verify that the tool accurately displays your custom impact profile's daily impact and quarterly avoided costs as expected.

    At the end of each section, there is an optional question where you can provide additional comments. Additionally, a file upload option is available at the end of the form. Any feedback that does not pass UAT will be added to the Featurebase Testing Feedback board, tagged as “Custom Impact Profile”.

    The testing window will be open until the end of the day on April 29th, PDT.

    This UAT covers the following acceptance criteria:

    • Program Administrators can add custom impact profile details.

    • Program Administrators can upload and store 8,760-hour impact profile data via CSV.

    • Program Administrators can generate and review the daily impact profile.

    • Program Administrators can generate and review quarterly avoided costs.

    • Program Administrators can publish and view custom impact profiles in library.

    • All authenticated users who are not PAs can view impact profiles from other groups and their avoided costs and daily impact profiles.

    • All guidance was easy to understand, and the tool was easy-to-use and navigate.

    Not included as part of this UAT (to be tested at a later date)

    • The ability to save progress and go back during the steps of "Add Custom Impact Profile".

    • View impact profiles’ peak days.

    • Edit/Replace existing impact profiles.

    • View legacy Load Shapes from DEER.
