BPA Filing and Unmatching Segments Currently in CEDARS
Good Morning,
In preparation for the upcoming BPA filing, I want to make sure there will not be an upload error or another error due to having a mismatch between current program segments and new program segments noted in the BPA for the same program numbers. Would someone be able to provide guidance?

We discussed this with @Amy.reardon@cpuc.ca.gov and ED would like you to create new programs with the new segments and close the existing programs, so the segment for the programs is correct for all years. Please let us know if you have any questions.

If I understand your question correctly, the program segments that are being reported in your upcoming BPA are different than the program segments that are currently in CEDARS. Is that correct? Is there a plan to update CEDARS to the new segments in the BPA? Also which PA are you supporting on this?
Also, can you clarify if the programs were properly characterized in their CEDARS segment and have changed to belong to a different segment over time, or if the CEDARS segments are incorrect?

@Jennifer Scheuerell Hi, Kristin is supporting NREN on this. Our current segments are correct for 2024-2027, however, we intend to change the segment for RRN002 and RRN003 for the 2028-2031 cycle. When I initiated the budget filing for 2028, since we are using the same programs, I realized that the segments will be incorrect for RRN002 and RRN003. We will plan to update those programs in 2028 to be correct, but what will this do to the budget filing if they are incorrect now?
