Test cases for replace impact profiles feature
Replace impact profile link is visible for PAs
Secondary navigation entry: Verify Replace Impact Profile link appears in the secondary navigation and opens Step 1.
Step 1 Impact Profile selection: Verify the user can select an existing Impact Profile from the library.
Step 1 End year validation: Verify that the End Year must be after the Start Year for the profile being replaced.
Step 1 Replacement details entry: Verify the user can enter replacement details, including Start Year, End Year, and Replacement Reason.
Step 1 End year validation: Verify that the replacement End Year is after the replacement Start Year, or can be left blank.
Step 2 8760 upload: Verify the user can upload replacement 8760 files and proceed when the upload is valid.
Step 3 Review screen content: Verify Step 3 displays Replaced Impact Profile, Replacement Reason, and comparison charts for Daily Impact Profile and Quarterly Avoided Costs.
Chart visibility toggle: Verify the user can independently toggle visibility of old and new profiles.
Publish replacement: Verify that clicking Publish creates and saves the new impact profile.
Old profile updated on publish: Verify that publishing updates the old profile with the revised End Year and locks it from editing.
Version history tagging and linking: Verify the old profile shows Replaced in Version History with a link to the new profile, and the new profile shows Current.
Library sorting order: Verify profiles are sorted as Current → No Tag → Replaced.
Replaced profile availability: Verify replaced profiles remain usable through their defined End Year.
Edit vs replace behaviour: Verify profiles not yet used in a budget filing or claim follow the edit flow rather than requiring replacement.

(a) I don’t know what this means exactly. If it means in other pages than the default library page, yes I see it.

(a) It doesn’t allow a prior year but it does allow the same year as the start year. This seems OK to me.

(b) User should be able to expand (or narrow) the climate zone applicability for replacement profiles.
(c) User should be able to set source impact type for the replacement profile

Step 2 8760 upload: Verify the user can upload replacement 8760 files and proceed when the upload is valid.
(a) This should allow for single profile or profile by climate zone, the same as the original upload. The one I was replacing was originally a single profile but I was asked for a profile for each CZ.
Step 3 Review screen content: Verify Step 3 displays Replaced Impact Profile, Replacement Reason, and comparison charts for Daily Impact Profile and Quarterly Avoided Costs.

Add input: How many 8760 Impact Profiles will you upload?
Replace Impact Profile – Step 3
Fix issue where: Replaced Impact Profile does not populate, and Replacement Reason does not populate
Fix navigation issue on Step 3: Update behavior to if profile is a replacement, Edit should: Open a replacement-specific edit screen. Preserve the context of the replacement flow. Include all replacement-specific inputs (e.g., Replacement Reason). Clicking Edit currently routes to the standard “Add Impact Profile” flow, users must manually navigate back to the replacement flow.

Thanks, this seems to work for me. The one issue I noticed, is the CET (and budget filing module) did not reflect the new End Date for the replaced profile in the avoided cost combos in the specification.

I don’t see the end date reflect on the profile “On Bill Financing 2023 Cohort” that I changed the end date on previously.
I tried to set an end date on a different profile and got an error.
